A good friend of mine, Justin, wanted to do a family photo session with his family and extended family the day after Christmas. We had a couple of days to scout for a location, and after failing to secure an awesome spot due another event being held at the original location, we decided on one of my favorite places to shoot! As a San Juan Capistrano portrait photographer, you have to have a Plan B and sometimes a Plan C if the original location does not work out. Luckily for me, Justin and his family wanted a rustic and woodsy look and feel to their photos. I don’t blame them, since that seems to be the highest background request I have received this year.
Here’s a cute picture of the all of the kids during the shoot. I found this fallen tree near by and just decided to sit the kids down in a row. I was pleasantly surprised of the outcome!
My good friend Justin and his family! Aren’t they such a cute family! Owen is the best!
This little guy always takes the show. He’s so trendy with his grey sweater from Zara Kids! He’s such a handsome boy!
Here’s a cute picture with one of the aunts with all of the kiddos all huddled around! Look at Owens smile!!! so cute!
Thank you to Justin for allowing me to shoot the biggest family portrait session I have shot! Melody and I enjoyed every minute of it!
The sisters had the idea to all lift their youngest brother. I dont think they realized how heavy he was and the resulting picture turned out perfect!
Thank you to Justin and it was a pleasure meeting the extended family for the first time! I look forward to photographing more of your family in the future!
