Christmas Lights = FAIL!!

Ahh, the spirit of Christmas!!! I am really excited to be spending our very first Christmas at our new place. Mel and I have been doing our best to decorate in between our busy schedules, so things are slowly coming together, even if it is two weeks to Christmas.. Mel was awesome enough to get our fake-real tree from the garage last week and setup before I even got home from one of my family shoots…

Wine and Chocolate tasting @ SCP

On Tuesday we went to a wine and chocolate tasting at Napa Style store at South Coast Plaza. I had never been to this store but will make frequent visits! The event was hosted by Napa Style and the owner Michael Chiarello. Some of you may know from the Food Network or Bravo. I have to be honest, I had never seen him before, but Melody has seen his shows in the past and she knew of him.

Do Family | {Portrait Photographer in Orange County}

Nancy contacted me to photograph family portraits of her parents and siblings.. We headed to a place in Newport Beach that over looks the back bay! I forget the name of the park but the view was gorgeous! I really did not know what to expect from this shoot, but I was in for a treat! This has got to be the funnest (is that a word?) and most playful group I have shot!

A day of giving Thanks!!

With so many things we all have to be thankful for where does one even start? First off I would like to give thanks to my wonderful parents! Without their love and guidance throughout the years I wouldn’t be where I am now. I am thankful to my girlfriend, Melody for everything she has done and the support you have shown! Oh, and being my official reflector girl! 🙂 I love you and look forward to spending our first holiday […]

Christina and Joe – {Orange County Wedding Photographer}

A beautiful day for such a beautiful couple!! I really enjoyed shooting Christina and Joe’s wedding because they had such an easy going nature about them.. No matter what hurdles occurred during the day like, make-up and hair were taking too long, ceremony started late and reception started late, they were both calm and collected. Their calm demeanor made it that much easier to photograph their wedding even though it was surrounded by the normal wedding chaos..

Happy Birthday!!

We spent a quick night at Disneyland once Mel got off work! We occasionally stop by Disneyland on any random weekday just to ride Buzz Lightyear, ride Space Mountain or eat churros (my favorite thing to eat). Today however we stopped by Disney for Melody’s birthday! We had a wonderful time eating at Blue Bayou (my first time – food was surprisingly very good), went on Haunted Mansion and watched the fireworks! The best part is that they give you […]

Yasna and Mike Engagement | {Wedding Photographer in Orange County}

I am finally catching up to some photo processing due to a busy schedule.. Here’s a recent engagement session with Yasna and Mike I shot in Dana Point! It was a wonderful day with a nice coastal breeze and the sun was hidden perfectly by the clouds allowing us to shoot under near perfect conditions. The light was amazing! I had a blast shooting Yasna and Mike! Thank you both for making this a fun shoot!

Marin/Reyes Family | {Orange County Portrait Photographer}

One of my dear friends (Lizza and Rene) wanted to do a family session at the beach in time to create and send out Christmas cards. I always enjoy photographing her family because they’re so easy going, relaxed and very cute!

Manny “PacMan” Pacquiao wins!!!

Being a fan of Pacquiao, I am very happy for Manny’s recent win of Miguel Cotto! An epic bout that lasted 12 rounds only to be stopped (TKO) about a minute into the round.. I was surprised that Manny was able to defeat Cotto especially since Cotto was a bigger, stronger and harder hitting fighter. But in the end, Manny’s determination, speed and accuracy prevailed!
